I’m energized by creating new systems, catalyzing change through ideas, and cross-pollinating between different industries and communities.
These themes have shown up throughout my career:
- World-Building: I’ve founded initiatives like Edjacent, designed learning frameworks at Education Design Lab, and explored new approaches at Defined Learning.
- Catalyzing Change Through Ideas: I thrive in thought leadership roles, sharing concepts that ripple outward and spark transformation even when I am not in control of the outcomes.
- Cross-Pollination: I love bridging boundaries and bringing together people, organizations, and ideas that might not otherwise meet.
Beyond professional titles, books are at the heart of who I am. I volunteer at a local independent bookstore, share recommendations on Storygraph, and gift a book to everyone who attends one of our cocktail parties. For me, books are more than stories. They are invitations to deeper conversations and stronger human connection.
At the core, I believe in meaningful discourse, autonomy, and building environments where excellence is recognized. My career path has always been about designing systems for impact while staying true to curiosity and joy.
This site is an experiment in bringing it all together: my professional work, my book projects, and my community passions. It is my way of sharing not just what I do, but who I am becoming.
